Terms of Service

By booking a session or using this website, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.:

1. Services Provided

CoachKayline offers the following services:

Counselling

  • Available face-to-face, online (Teams), or via telephone.
  • Sessions may last up to 50 minutes, scheduled on a session-by-session basis.
  • You should be in a private, uninterrupted location.

Coaching

  • Available face-to-face or online (Teams).
  • Full-day intensive sessions: 6–8 hours.
  • Weekly sessions: scheduled at your own pace, tailored to your goals and progress.
  • Privacy and uninterrupted focus are required for effectiveness.

Hypnotherapy

  • Available face-to-face or online (Teams).
  • Sessions may last up to 50 minutes.
  • You should be in a private, uninterrupted location.

2. Payment & Cancellation

  • Payment for all sessions must be made at least 3 days in advance.
  • Cancellations must be made with at least 48 hours’ notice.
  • Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, or missed sessions, will be charged in full.

3. Session Requirements

  • After two unsuccessful attempts to contact you, the session will be abandoned, and full fees remain payable.
  • Sessions must be treated as if in a professional setting, both by you and by CoachKayline.

4. Confidentiality

All information shared during sessions is confidential, except:

  • If there is risk of significant harm to you or others.
  • Disclosures required by law, including criminal activity such as money laundering, terrorism, or human trafficking.
  • For supervision purposes (identity anonymised).

5. Privacy & Data Protection (GDPR)

  • Sessions are never recorded. Paperwork is minimal and stored securely.
  • Records are kept up to 6 years, or 7 years if the client was under 18 at the time.
  • You have the right to access, correct, erase, or transfer your personal data.
  • Data will not be shared without consent except in circumstances involving serious harm or legal obligation.

6. Complaints

CoachKayline works within the ethical framework of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

  • Complaints should be raised with Kay first, face-to-face or in writing.
  • If unresolved, complaints can be escalated to the BACP for further investigation.

7. Limitation of Liability

While sessions are designed to support wellbeing, results vary. You use the services at your own risk, and CoachKayline cannot guarantee specific outcomes.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
